Homedale School District has implemented a new student information system this year - Lumen WeBSIS - which provides secure online access to student academic information.
The Parent Portal gives you access to your student’s attendance, grades, schedule and other information through a password-protected secure site. The information displayed is real-time and secure. It should be viewed as a snapshot in time and not an official record. The Portal is web-based and can be accessed from any computer with internet access using Mozilla FireFox 1.0+ or Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.
Beginning in November, 2009, each parent or guardian will be given a user account for the WeBSIS Parent Portal. Information will be available at parent-teacher conferences at the Middle School on Nov. 16 and the High School on Nov 23. Elementary parent login information will be sent home in Friday Folders on Nov. 20.
Access to multiple students’ information with a single login
If you have multiple students enrolled in Homedale School District, you may access all their information from a single login. You will need the login information for each student.
Log in with information for one student, click the My Students Summary Information icon on the desktop, click the Add My Other Students (if any) button at the top of the list. Enter the information for another student and Request Access to Your Student Information. Accept the User Information Access Agreement and the student will be added to your list.
Repeat for additional students.
Parent Portal user accounts are provided to parents and guardians who are the legal education decision makers for the student. NEVER give your login information to anyone else or use anyone else’s login information to access the system. The portal system tracks all system accesses to the portal and its applications. If you did not receive your account information at conferences, you can pick up the information at your student's school office.
It is your responsibility to use access to your student's information within the parameters allowed by law. IF YOU ARE NOT a legal education decision maker or custodial parent for this student, you are not allowed to access this student's information even if you have received a Parent Portal user account.
